Mini-moons proving popular at Brides the Show

An exhausting but fabulous day at #Bridestheshow. Lots of interest in our prize draw for 2 nights at the Rocco Forte Verdura Resort in Sicily. Interesting to hear that many couples are opting for a mini-moon after their wedding followed by a big splurge honeymoon later on. We like your thinking! Looking forward to helping some lovely brides & grooms-to-be plan their trips.

Hoping for an Indian summer?

Book a slice of guaranteed autumn sunshine for October half-term. Since for most of us, the holiday is only a week long we've selected our favourite short-haul destinations which deliver on temperature, but don't leave you exhausted for your Halloween celebrations. For those families lucky enough to have a longer holiday, we've got some alternative long-haul destinations up our sleeve.  Here are just a few of our fall favourites...https://www.my-native.com/october-halfterm

Off to the Land of the Midnight Sun...

Our first clients are travelling this weekend to the Land of the Midnight Sun and a Thousand Lakes, Finland. We love it, and here's why...

Celebrating 100 years of independence from Russia this year, Finland is in celebratory mood. At My Native, we love the untouched forests, pristine lakes, exquisite food, and the midnight summer sun. Don't expect to be fussed over; the Finnish approach to service is genuine and accomplished but matter-of-fact, and we like this. For Weekenders, Helsinki packs a punch for a relatively compact city - the restaurants, Scandi design shops and sightseeing will leave you wanting more. Sauna culture is a big part of everyday life in the city; visit on Sauna Day, which takes place twice a year, and you'll have access to several private saunas...one of our favourites is on a raft! If you do have time to spare, sail across to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Tallin - just 2 hours away, or board a train to St. Petersburg, just 3 hours away.  As one of the most sparsely populated countries in Europe, honeymooners seeking privacy and tranquility are in luck. And for Native Kids, Finland - in our view - offers the most authentic of Lapland adventures. https://www.my-native.com/nativenow/

And for the foodies amongst you, Finland has so much to offer:  http://www.visitfinland.com/article/iconic-finnish-foods-of-all-time/
